Local Monasteries
Step back in time with a visit to one of Guildford and the surrounding areas many monasteries. Tucked away near the River Wey, Waverley Abbey retains much of it’s original features including parts of the monks’ dormitory, chapter-house and infirmary chapel. St. Augustine’s Abbey is also worth a visit as visitors can also enjoy the museum.

Bramley Heath & Shamley Green Walk
The nearest walking path to our estate, this 9 mile (14km) walk through the Surrey Hills takes you through twists and turns of incredible wilderness with breathtaking views to match. Just leave Barnett Hill Hotel and head onto Blackheath Lane. Turn right at the end of the road and you will shortly arrive at the start of the walk.
