Theatre lovers, look no further! With Christmas fast approaching, The Yvonne Arnaud theatre is just the place to indulge in Cinderella - the original rags to riches tale. It is the godmother of all pantos, full of slapstick and slosh, music and magic.  This year the pantomime stars EastEnders and Detectorists favourite Lucy Benjamin as the Wicked Stepmother and Radio's Peter Gordon (returning for his 18th year!), in a hilarious Ugly Stepsister duo alongside Guildford Shakespeare Company co-founder Matt Pinches.

G-Live has a fantastic line up of shows, comedy, music & theatre for this season.  Their varied Winter programme includes music from Sophie Ellis Bextor and Guildford Choral's Handel’s Messiah, whilst comedians Ed Gamble, Sarah Millican and Viggo Venn provide the laughs.  There are other exciting visitors as the winter months progress, including Strictly dancer Giovanni Pernice and husband & wife team Dr Michael Mosley and Dr Clare Bailey. At the top of the High Street in Guildford with plenty of parking, it's only a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

The Abinger Cookery School will fire up your imagination with courses that are practical, inspiring & most importantly fun!  The school makes good use of the fantastic Surrey Hills produce available right on our doorstep.  Learn some new skills, brush up on some existing ones or become a pro on an advanced course.  Or fire up the barbeque and learn to barbeque like a chef on a Weber Grill Academy course.  The choices are endless - from pasta, butchery and canapés to mastering the perfect roast you will be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in!  Only 15 minutes from the hotel.

Lunch & Llama Meet

Every Saturday & School Holidays

Book a table for lunch at the Merry Harriers and meet the Llamas afterwards. The Merry Harriers has a herd of friendly llamas, living in the paddocks just behind the Inn. They really are rather magnificent creatures each with their own unique personality and bringing their own special brand of happiness and fun to all ages. After lunch experience feeding & grooming the Llamas and learn all about them.  The Merry Harriers also offers llamas walks through the Surrey countryside if you are looking for a longer activity.  A 20 minute drive from the hotel.
