At Great Fosters we offer bespoke pricing uniquely designed to ensure that your wedding dreams become a reality. In the winter months, as the fires are lit and the snow falls, so do our hire prices - it is the most cost-effective time to hold the wedding of your dreams, with up to 50% off our room hire price & up to 75% off our minimum spend requirements.

We want to give our couples the freedom to plan their perfect wedding. We offer complete flexibility to craft your day exactly how you wish, so you can choose precisely what you would like to have during each stage of the day. As such we don't offer a package and instead ask for a minimum spend. Your minimum spend can include reception drinks on arrival, canapés, wedding breakfast, wines & water with the wedding breakfast, Champagne for the toasts and a pre arranged bar tab. This enables you to tailor make your day to your individual requirements. The minimum spend cannot include the room hire, evening refreshments or any accommodation costs.

Waiters circulating with steaming glasses of mulled wine, the fragrance of spice in the air and the flicker of candle light, with delicious warming canapés and roaring open fires - a grand reception on a crisp Winter's day.
Our drinks list is below but if your favourite isn't listed just let us know. We recommend allowing for two - three drinks per person and offering two alcoholic and one non alcoholic options.
Take your seats to a roar of applause in the historic Tithe Barn. Head Chef Michael Mealey has devised some superb menus, which reflect the seasons. All you need to do is select one starter, one main course and of course a dessert. Or if you have a sweet tooth you may prefer to opt for our fabulous dessert table instead! We are, of course very happy to cater for any vegetarians or guests with allergies or other special dietary requirements separately. Add up the dishes you choose and that is the cost of your meal. We include a menu tasting for two a few months prior to your wedding so you can feel confident that you've chosen exactly the right dishes. Our three course menus start from £70 per person.
No meal would be complete without some fabulous wines to complement the wonderful food. Our cellar is extensive and if you need some advice our Sommelier is always delighted to offer assistance either in the lead up to your wedding or at your menu tasting. He will ensure that the wines you select match the dishes you have chosen and most importantly keep within your budget. Our house wines start from £26 per bottle and we suggest you allow for ½ to ¾ of a bottle per person, not forgetting a non alcoholic option too.
Your speeches can he held either once all guests are seated, after the starter or main course or at the end of your meal - the choice is yours and you may wish to consider which Champagne or sparkling wine you would like us to serve for the toasts.
Whilst you were feasting in the Tithe Barn our team will have reset the Orangery and after your wedding breakfast and a coffee break it's time to strike up the band - it's party time! Steal a sparkling moment outside with your guests and then dance the night away. Perhaps some guests will take to the dance floor whilst others may relax in the Painted Hall Bar or Terrace - either way, it's time to celebrate!
All that dancing (and maybe a little drinking) needs fuelling - choose from pizzas cooked in our wood fired pizza oven on the terrace, or perhaps a hog roast, grazing table or cheeseboards tickle your fancy?
What could be more glamorous than a wedding on New Year's Eve surrounded by friends & family enjoying a party atmosphere?
Think sparkling candlelight, warming log fires and Champagne toasts at midnight...
Seven bedrooms are included and we ask for a minimum spend of £25,000 for the evening.
Below is an example of how to calculate a minimum spend:

Reception drinks - two glasses of Champagne per person (based on 5 glasses per bottle @ £75 per bottle) £1,500

The above is just one example of how to calculate a minimum spend. Which drinks, canapes, menu etc you include is entirely up to you.
Bank Holiday Sundays are charged as a Saturday & Bank Holiday Mondays as a Sunday. Easter Thursday is charged as a Friday and Good Friday as a Saturday.
Honeymoon Suite: this will be reserved for the night of your wedding on a complimentary basis. It will be made available from 3pm on the day of the wedding.
Guest Bedrooms: Once your contract has been received you will be issued with a booking code which can be used by your guests to book bedrooms online at a discounted rate. Your unique code is also valid for reservations the night before and the night after the wedding. Your code will expire one month prior to the wedding date.
Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival and we ask that all bedrooms are vacated by 11am the following day. We are unable to guarantee any early check-ins. If guests would like to guarantee that their room is ready prior to 3pm they will need to reserve their room for the night prior if available. Any additional / Z-beds are charged at £50 per child (under 12 years only), per night including breakfast. There is no charge for a cot to be placed in any rooms.
Changing Room: We don't offer a changing room but an early check-in is available on a limited number of rooms for a supplement charge.
