How it might look...
Practice Makes Perfect
All of our Exclusive Use weddings are bespoke and tailored to your exact wishes. Whether it's a full mansion take-over or a more intimate affair though, your day might look like this...
Our fairy tale pretty manor in Surrey is perfect for a destination wedding. Friends & family can assemble from afar (even abroad with Gatwick in easy reach), and to make the most of your time with your nearest and dearest, we recommend starting the festivities a day early with a rehearsal dinner.
We like to think of these as relaxed affairs with family & friends; buckets of beers, BBQs in the summer months and hearty tray bakes in the winter, with the fires lit and a full-bodied red being poured. Most importantly, plenty of time to catch up, check your check-lists and really begin to relax and enjoy proceedings.
Butterflies in Tummies
A few deep breaths and last words of wisdom...
Whether you stay the night before or arrive on the day, we’ll make sure there is space in one of our drawing rooms for the bridal party to set up camp, pop a few corks and get ready for the day ahead.
We’d suggest a light elevenses of finger sandwiches to settle tummies, and a few mimosas to steady nerves.
The I Dos
With this ring...
At Langshott, our largest room The Mulberry can play host to your wedding ceremony, or alternatively in the fairer months you may wish to use our stunning grounds and pretty pavilion on the lawn, which are also licensed. For Church services, we have several in easy reach with the nearest just 2 miles away.
The Reception
Ready to receive
The gardens are yours for an elegant cocktail & canapé reception in the summer months. In the winter, warming beef & Yorkshire pudding canapés by the fire are a delight, served alongside our house-spiced Glühwein by sparkling candelight.
Or perhaps you prefer sliders and local cider with hay bales and bunting? Anything is possible...
The Serious Business of Eating & Drinking
Fabulous Feasting
The Mulberry makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding breakfast.
During your planning, you will meet with our Head Chef to design your menu; from our favourite dishes to fully bespoke items. From a classic gala-style wedding breakfast to dishes inspired by your travels, you and your guests will be treated to gorgeous, generous cuisine at Langshott.
House Party
The night is yet young...
After the speeches & feasting assuredly comes the dancing! The Mulberry and Drawing Room can transform into spaces for dance floors and bands or DJs to play the night away. Meanwhile, in St Peter’s bar and the adjoining lounges guests will find a spot to rest their feet and recharge, ready for the next number.
Late night sustenance may come in the form of a hog roast perhaps, or a spread of cheese. Maybe even fish finger sandwiches and cones of mac n’ cheese?
Time to Retire...
And so to bed...
Our 22 bedrooms are all individually appointed, named after Tudor royalty, castles, local gardens and racecourses. Each room comes with our luxurious linens, robes, beautiful bathroom amenities, filtered water, coffee & biscuits and more.
You are your guests will enjoy a full ‘recovery’ breakfast the morning after the night before.
