Overnight Stay Reservations

Accommodation is normally available from 3pm on the day of your arrival, use of the spa facilities can be enjoyed from this time. On your departure day, we ask that you check out of your room by 11am.
For those guests staying on a leisure break, you may continue to use the spa facilities until this time. For those guests staying on one of our specific Spa Breaks, your use of spa facilities is extended until 1pm. We can store any luggage you might have while you continue to enjoy any further treatments.

Access to our Utopia Spas at Alexander House and Rowhill Grange is not included on Room Only, Bed & Breakfast or Dinner, Bed & Breakfast packages. Spa access can be added for £20 per person per night or is included when booking a 55 or 85 minute Utopia Spa Treatment.  Use of the outdoor pool at Great Fosters is available for anyone staying overnight.

Spa facilities are available to guests over the age of 18. Please make us aware if there is anything in your medical history that could affect your day here with us, if you are pregnant we advise speaking with your midwife or doctor before using the spa facilities. Please do not use the sauna, steam room or jacuzzi if you are pregnant or could be pregnant. Pregnancy treatments are only recommended for guests over 16 weeks pregnant.

We respectfully advise you that we are unable to give specific appointment times for treatments that are included as part of your stay until the day of your arrival. Please note that any inclusive treatments may be scheduled from 3pm on your day of arrival until 1pm on your day of departure. For those guests enjoying the Utopia experience with friends, we will endeavour to arrange similar treatment times.

Room rates are quoted either per person or per room based on two adults sharing. Please be aware we will require a pre-authorisation from a credit or debit card on arrival.

Booking & Cancellation Terms

The following terms apply:

Spa Break packages - a £200 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations at Alexander House, Great Fosters and Rowhill Grange. A £100 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations at Barnett Hill.  You may cancel your reservation up to 7 days in advance.
Dinner, Bed & Breakfast packages - a £200 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations at Alexander House and Great Fosters. A £100 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations at Barnett Hill, Langshott Manor and Rowhill Grange.  You may cancel your reservation up to 7 days in advance.
Room only and Bed & Breakfast rates - a credit card is required to secure your reservation.  You may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours in advance.
Advance Purchase and Promotional Offers - full prepayment is required at the time of booking. Date changes are not possible and should you cancel your reservation no refund is due.
Christmas Package Rates - A £400 per room non-refundable deposit is required when making a booking. Full pre-payment is due on the 1st December.  The full package is payable for any cancellations made after 1st December.

Within the above cancellation windows and in the event that you do not arrive for your stay the full charge applies.

Settlement of outstanding balance is required on departure. If  you are using vouchers as payment or part payment for your visit, please ensure you bring these with you to avoid the full amount  being charged on departure.  All our hotels are cashless and we do not accept cash as payment.

We strongly advise all guests to consider travel insurance to cover the unfortunate cancellation of their stay. A more flexible amendment policy is available to allow for any unforeseen circumstances by opting for our 'flexi cover' at the time of booking, flexi cover is £15 per booking. This will allow you to change the date of your booking on one occasion up to 24 hours prior to arrival.

Alexander Hotels reserve the right to cancel any overnight stay reservation if reasonable circumstances apply.

Spa Day Reservations

Your Spa Day includes full use of the spa facilities, dining option, and specific treatments associated with a package. Should any of your group have any medical or dietary requirement please let us know in advance so that we can cater accordingly. Please note that inclusions for third party agency vouchers are as specified by the selling agent.

Should you be using vouchers as payment or part payment for your day, please ensure you bring these with you to avoid the full amount of your experience being charged on departure.

For use during your day a robe and towels are provided, with use of a locker, selection of complimentary toiletries and hair drying facilities in the changing suites.

What to bring with you:

• Casual, comfortable clothing to change into for lunch or you may prefer to dine in your robe.
• Two sets of swimwear
• Suitable footwear, such as flip flops. These are also available to purchase on the day.
• Sportswear and clean trainers should you wish to make use of the gym.

Utopia Spa offers a wide range of treatments. Should you wish to book any additional treatments we strongly recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Treatments can be booked by calling our spa directly on 01342 859712 for Alexander House or 01322 667433 for Rowhill Grange.

We are unable to advise you of specific appointment times until the day of your arrival. For those guests enjoying the Utopia experience with friends or family, we will endeavour to arrange similar treatment times.

Our treatments are carried out by male and female therapists. For your comfort, should you have a preference of therapist please inform us prior to your arrival where we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

The Gymnasium is available for our Spa Day guests every day.

Utopia Spa is only available for all guests over the age of 18. Please note that Spa Days are non-refundable, however we are able to change the date of your booking up to 7 days prior to the date of your Spa Day. If a cancellation is made within 7 days, the booking is unable to be transferred to another date. We advise seeking medical advise from your mid-wife or doctor in advance of using our facilities.

Alexander Hotels reserve the right to cancel any spa day if reasonable circumstances apply.

Please be aware we will require a £10 per person pre-authorisation from a credit or debit card on arrival. Settlement of any outstanding balance is due on departure.

Individual Treatment Reservations

Utopia Spa only offers treatments to guests over the age of 18.

A pre-payment will be required for all individual treatments. Please note, individual treatment bookings do not include use of the spa facilities. Discounts offered with third party sales cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers in the spa.

As a courtesy to our clients and to ensure you enjoy the full benefit of your treatment, please be prompt to your appointment. We respectfully advise all our guests to be seated in the waiting lounge five minutes prior to appointment time. If you are late for your appointment, we can offer you a shortened service.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment otherwise a 100% cancellation charge will apply for the service(s) booked.

Alexander Hotels reserve the right to cancel any individual spa treatment if reasonable circumstances apply.

Gift Vouchers

A wide range of Gift Vouchers are available to purchase for a Spa Day, Spa Break, Treatment, Dining, Afternoon Tea or Monetary value. Vouchers are generally valid for 10 months unless otherwise stated.

Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be redeemed and used by the expiry date shown. No change will be given when using a voucher to settle your account. Photocopies will not be accepted and de-facing gift vouchers will invalidate your voucher. We advise you to book well in advance to ensure the date of your choice with all bookings subject to availability.

If you are purchasing a Spa Day voucher during our voucher sale, purchased vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Sale vouchers are generally valid for 6 months unless otherwise stated. All gift vouchers are subject to availability. Please be aware, gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers and must be presented on arrival for your experience. Failure to show your voucher may result in full payment being taken for your experience.

All our spa day, dining and afternoon tea vouchers are priced person unless otherwise specified. Our overnight break / spa break vouchers are valid for two adults.

Smoking

Alexander Hotels is proud to operate a non smoking policy throughout all our hotels. Guests are invited to use the designated smoking areas should they wish to smoke. Please note a £100 cleaning charge will be applied to your account where smoking has occurred in any of our bedrooms.

Food and Beverage

We respectfully advise that for the safety of all our guests, only food and beverage items purchased at the hotel can be consumed. Any alcohol brought externally and consumed onsite will incur a corkage charge.

AG's Restaurant at Alexander House is an adult only restaurant. For guests travelling with children we recommend Reflections Restaurant.

Your Four Legged Friend

If you would like the home comfort of treating your four legged friend to a luxury stay with you, we have selected rooms perfectly designed to accommodate dogs. *Not available at Rowhill Grange. You can find out more using our Dog Guides.

Price Promise

Should you find a 'Fully Packaged Rate' cheaper online we will offer our price match service.
Our price promise guarantee is only valid on 'packaged rates' and proof of package, like for like must be provided upon booking. Complimentary upgrade choice is chosen by a hotel representative and subject to availability.
