What time can I check in?
Check in is at 3pm. We offer early check in at 12pm, charged at £50.00 per room.

Check out is at 11am. We offer late check out at 2pm, charged at £50.00 per room.

Can I bring my own food and drink for during my stay?
No, we do not permit guests bringing or ordering their own food and drink to the Hotel.

Do I need to bring my own bathrobe?
Slippers and Robes are provided in Luxury rooms and above at Barnett Hill.

What is your cancellation policy?
For Dinner, Bed and Breakfast packages:
Cancellation policy for this rate: a £50.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required at the time of making your reservation and is only transferable if a clear 7 days notice has been given. Any notification of a cancellation within 48 hours will result in the full package price being charged. All pre-paid deposits are non-refundable.
For Breaks with Treatments included:
Cancellation policy for this rate: a £100.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required at the time of making your reservation and is only transferable if a clear 7 days notice has been given. Any notification of a cancellation within 7 days will result in the full package price being charged. All pre-paid deposits are non-refundable. We strongly advise all guests to consider travel insurance to cover the unfortunate cancellation of your stay.
A more flexible amendment policy is available to allow for any unforeseen circumstances by opting for our ‘flexi cover’. This will allow you to change the date of your booking on one occasion up to 24 hours prior to arrival. This option is chargeable at £15 per room at the time of booking. Please note that Flexi cover is only available when the packages which are not fully pre-payable at time of booking.

Yes, we have free parking at the hotel for guests and visitors.

While we do not have spa facilities, we do have treatment rooms which allows us to offer spa treatments at our hotel.

Do I need to book treatments in advance?
We recommend booking treatments as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. You can book on the day but there will be limited availability.

Do I need to bring my own robe or footwear?
Robes and Slippers are provided in Luxury rooms and above.

The Oak Room Restaurant dress code is elegantly smart. We do not require gentlemen to wear a jacket and tie, but we do not permit sportswear.

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
We try our best to cater for special diets. We offer a Vegan and Vegetarian menu in both of our restaurants however for certain dietary requirements we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice.

What is the difference between your two restaurants?
The Oak Room Restaurant provides a more formal setting to dine, whereas our casual dining is a more relaxed experience as you can dine in our cosy lounge with garden views.

We can cater for a variety of special occasions from 20 - 100 guests, including:

What can I buy with monetary vouchers?
Money vouchers can be redeemed against any product for the purchased hotel. No change will be given when using a voucher to settle your account. Please note that gift vouchers cannot be used as a payment method to buy gift vouchers.

How long are gift vouchers valid for?
Gift vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase with the exception of certain sale vouchers of which are valid for 6 months, unless stated otherwise.

What is the nearest train station?
The nearest station to our hotel is Chilworth train station, which is approximately 5 minutes away. Alternatively, there is Shalford train station, which is approximately 10 minutes away. To check trains, please visit Great Western Rails website here.
