Enjoy a magical evening as Windsor Great Park Illuminated returns to light up the festive season bigger, better &more dazzling than ever with a brand new trail design and spectacularly re-imagined installations. Follow a path through woodland awash with colour as sparkles of fireflies, luminous beacons and dancing fairies blaze the way, the lake alive with flood-lit fountains and glimmering reflections. At a cosy rest spot, enjoy mouth-wateringly good food, mulled wine and hot chocolate or toast marshmallows at one of the fire pits.

Windsor Theatre - Aladdin

Make all of your wishes come true and join Windsor’s favourite threesome on a magical (carpet) ride of adventure and fun! Returning for his 10th Windsor Pantomime, everyone’s favourite fox Basil Brush is back alongside Steven Blakeley, Kevin Cruise and Anita Harris. Joining them this year is star of the Real Marigold Hotel Patti Boulaye and TV Trickster Paul Zenon.  Featuring Theatre Royal Windsor’s traditional pantomime comedy capers, dazzling dancers, colourful costumes and a sprinkling of Magic, you won’t want to miss this ‘Genie’-ous show!

Christmas at Windsor Castle

This year’s Christmas display at Windsor Castle will celebrate the 675th anniversary of the Order of the Garter, the oldest order of chivalry in Britain which was founded in Windsor in 1348.  A magnificent 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir tree in St George's Hall, grown nearby in Windsor Great Park, is the highlight of the Christmas display. This year it will be topped by a specially commissioned sparkling Garter Star to commemorate the anniversary, alongside Coronation-themed decorations to celebrate this special year.  Another glistening Christmas tree topped with a Garter Star will be in the Crimson Drawing Room – one of the most elaborate rooms in the Castle.

Skating at Hampton Court

Glow at RHS Wisley

Only 35 minutes from the hotel see glorious RHS Wisley come alive at night with fantastical illuminations on an enchanting festive trail. See some of the garden's iconic sights in a dazzling new light, pick up a treat from the Village Square and then head to Seven Acres to see the illuminated wicker alliums, globes & arches. The Glasshouse will be filled with light and fun with a Christmas beach theme(!), and outside, the Glasshouse Lake will sparkle with disco balls. Why not enjoy a cosy fireside afternoon tea with us before wrapping up to see the light show?⁠

Ascot Howden Christmas Racing

22nd & 23rd December

Celebrate the festive season in style at Ascot's final race meeting of the year, featuring fantastic racing and great festive food & drink off the track. The racing is set to be thrilling, with a quality Jumps card featuring a pair of Grade 2 races – the Howden Kennel Gate Novices’ Hurdle and the Howden Noel Novices’ Chase.  There's an abundance of seasonal fun for all with a range of festive entertainment set to delight racegoers of all ages including traditional fairground rides and candle-lit carol singing with the Ascot Brass Band with Father Christmas and his reindeer also in attendance.
