When Tania from Tania Russell Weddings came to us with her vision for this shoot we were immediately WOWED!   Tania took her inspiration from Dior, the most stylish French fashion house of them all.  We are sure you will agree that the shoot is dreamy, bold and sensual against the stunning backdrop of Alexander House and complete with some glorious styling touches.  We also love it because Kristina and Basil, our models for the day have a cheeky mischievous vibe that brings ALL the joy!

Tania told us, “I wanted to bring glamour, fashion and something seductive to the theme, whilst still keeping the whole theme tasteful.”  We think you’ll agree that the brief was achieved!

The inspiration was about creating elements of Dior, bringing sexiness to the wedding, losing the traditional white dress and showing that bridal attire doesn’t necessarily have to be white!  Ryley & Flynn provided a stunning black Raven Skirt, which was paired with a stunning lace top for the day & a strapless corset for the evening, with the groom’s wearing a black evening suit.

It worked well, along with the glamorous Hollywood hair by Joanne Hook and the stunning birdcage headpiece by Victoria Charles Headpieces which brought everything together to make that Dior feeling come alive.”

The decor and styling were simple, modern and elegant and something that any couple would be able to recreate at their own wedding.  It was executed by the talented The Pretty Events Co, who provided the decor and styled the dining tables.

The flowers for Kristina’s bouquet, Basil’s corsage and the table were made by Bryony Mae Flowers

 

The beautifully simple & elegant cake was by Sweet Sensation.

It was finished off with stylish stationery by KM Stationery & Design.

We took the ‘Bride & Groom’ to our fabulous duplex Suite Great Dixter for some fun photos.
