Welcome to Alexander House, an endlessly charming Jacobean Manor & Spa steeped in history and located in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. Perfect for a 1st or last night's stay (or longer)... London Victoria is under an hour away and Gatwick Airport less than 20 minutes. Yet, Alexander House is a world away with a stunning 120 acres of grounds to explore, the sensational, award-winning Utopia Spa, two excellent restaurants and plenty of warming log fires for those cooler days. Utopia Spa boasts a stunning Spa Garden with outdoor hot tub and barrel sauna, open all year round, as well as our fabulous pools, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and more inside with a range of luxurious spa treatments on offer.
There are numerous references to past owners of our historic abode at the heart of our property, including poet Percy Bysshe Shelley & and wife, novelist and author of Frankenstein, Mary Shelley. The Cedar Lodge
Escape to our Cedar Lodge Suites, just a short walk away from the main hotel in the heart of our 120 acre estate. Home to 16 Garden Suites, 2 Deluxe Garden Suites and a Duplex Master Garden Suite, our Cedar Lodge Suites are our most luxurious suites, with plenty of space, air conditioning, technology and unique design features as well as a balcony overlooking the Sussex countryside or terrace.
Averaging 52m², our Garden Suites feature a south facing balcony or terrace and lots of luxurious features, including an oversized bathtub for two, walk in rain shower, super-king bed and four mood lighting settings.
Our Deluxe Garden Suites provide even more space to make the most of.
Our Duplex Master Suite is truly unique, with a separate lounge, views across our stunning gardens and a terrace with sun loungers. This duplex suite also features two luxurious bathrooms; both with walk in rain showers and underfloor heating and the upstairs bathroom also features an oversized bathtub for two. Choose from four mood lighting options and set your own soundtrack with our fully integrated audio system.

Our Traditional and Master Suites are our biggest and most luxurious Suites in the Main House, both located on the first floor.
Exuding luxury, our Traditional Suite, Huntington, offers flawless views of the Sussex countryside beyond our 120 acre estate. With 80 square meters to use however you'd like, our Traditional Suite combines grand, traditional interiors with modern flourishes. Also home to a large en suite bathroom, separate vanity room and full lounge area.
Our Master Suite, Henley provides 115 square metres of total luxury, offering the ultimate indulgence. Proving that bigger is always better, make the most of your handmade British emperor bed, separate lounge area and views over our beautiful South Lawn. The best thing? Your spacious en suite bathroom features a large, raised freestanding bathtub, separate rain shower and twin vanity unit.
