The Main House
Our luxurious historic named suites are brimming with wondrous tales of the past. From 17th century Flemish tapestries adorning the walls, to intricately carved feature pieces dating back to Jacobean times and Grade I Listed features, your clients will feel like the Tudor royalty who once resided at Great Fosters.
These suites are very special indeed and have naturally had some very special guests staying over the years. Charlie Chaplin was a regular visitor staying in The Tapestry, with his children and nanny staying in The Nursery above (there used to be a secret staircase in what is now the Tapestry bathroom linking the two).

The Dower House

The newly restored Dower House (think Violet Crawley from Downton Abbey!) comprises three generous rooms and four suites across two floors, all rich in original details bearing the patina of time, juxtaposed with our signature fabrics and furnishings. Individually designed, the seven rooms & suites are arranged in three categories.
The two named suites on the 1st floor are each paired with an historic splendid suite. The Byfleet suite can be reserved with the adjacent Clarence whilst the Marlborough can be reserved with the adjacent Hillingdon. On the ground floor three Luxury King Rooms look out over the herb garden. Each pair of rooms has it's own private entrance which can be secured so perfect for families with older children.

Multi Generational Stays
Several of our larger rooms and suits are able to accommodate an extra bed or two. The ancient Dower House, which was restored in 2021 can be booked privately. Three pairs of suites / rooms offer your own lockable entrance door giving extra privacy and space - perfect for a multi-generational family stay.
Four new light and airy spacious superking suites on the first floor of The Coach House are also perfect for a group stay. They are all adjacent and two interconnect - ideal for clients travelling with little ones. The suites have plenty of space and generous bathrooms with tubs and walk in showers.

TRANSFERS
Please contact the Priority Team to arrange for you. We are also able to offer a premium service - arriving passengers will be met from their aircraft and escorted through immigration, baggage reclaim and customs to their waiting driver who will bring them to the hotel. For departing passengers a host will meet them at their chauffeur driven car and accompany them to the check in desk and through the airport right to the aircraft.
PRIVATE TOURS
We partner with Humphreys of Henley and Queen of Clubs, both of whom will delighted to curate a bespoke tour for your clients for a morning, a day or longer. They have unprecedented access to a range of historic houses and gardens, many of which are not even open to the general public.
